About the Role

EDS is a SaaS company providing a centralized platform to securely analyze and interpret client intelligence. Presently, we are focused on the investment management and corporate verticals, but have pilots in other verticals. The EDS BD&M will support the President in Business Development initiatives, and take an active role in marketing and sales strategies, keep the company focused on customer outcomes and play a central role in directing the future of the product

What You’ll Do

At EDS, the Chief Revenue Officer will be responsible (and compensated) for cultivating new client, distribution and content partnerships, while maximizing existing ones. He/she will also take a leading role in the growth of EDS’s sales & marketing initiatives. They’ll be involved in all aspects of business development, marketing, sales, demonstrating the product, educating customers and more.

  • Develop and lead new distribution & content partnerships

  • Continue to grow existing distribution and content partnerships

  • Support the development of EDS’s marketing initiatives, including hiring, branding, website, messaging, conferences, white papers, and the hiring of outside consultants.

  • Participate and lead the development of the sales efforts in the non-strategic partnership division of the EDS business (opportunity for commissions on new sales), including hiring, demonstrations, and other sales related activities.

  • Collaborate with the engineering and development team on customer features and functionality.


What We’re Looking For



  • 3+ years business development and/or sales & marketing within the financial services industry.

  • Proven track record of working in a business development/sales facing role.

  • Experience of working within the investment and content community, preferably related to their daily workflows.

  • Have, or be willing to learn, basic technical skills, as well as the EDS Platform.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level

  • Proven sales experience

  • Fintech experience, including a working knowledge of the financial markets, fundamental investing, hedge funds, asset managers, corporate investor relations managers.

  • Experience working with, and managing, stakeholders and customers

  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Flexible approach, able to operate effectively with uncertainty and change

  • Driven, self-motivated, enthusiastic and with a “can do” attitude
